Angel received her bachelors degree in Social Work from Central Michigan University and her Masters degree in Social Work with a MACRO focus in Community Organization and Leadership from Michigan State University. Angel approaches therapy as a change-oriented process by practicing a personal growth model focused on client needs and emphasizing client strengths in a supportive and compassionate environment. She utilizes cognitive behavior and mindfulness based therapy approaches integrated with holistic care to support clients in reaching their goals and potentials. Her specialized areas of focus are in treating chronic pain and substance use disorders. Angel currently works at Partners in Change: Psychological and Community Services located in Mount Pleasant. She also serves as the chair for the National Association of Social Workers- Michigan Chapter Political Action for Candidate Election Committee.
